I get Headaches, But what are they from? (Details inside)?

Hi! Im a 14 yr old girl and about once a month I will get these BAD headaches. It might be stress, because I hvae ALOT of it. .My Dad also suffers from them, but his are much worse. Again, once a month, but he gets ill with them. Mine aren't sinus I dont THINK its not in my undereye area or anything. Its just in my forehead and in the back of my head and its like a throbbing, sometimes dull sometimes sharp. Depends if i move....My dad had meds for his but,. i just wanna know what theyre from. I had one yesterday, the day i started my period. But they arent always linked to my cycle, so that kinda takes away that idea...
