Dropped needle into machine. help....plz.... =(?

i have a singer ce 150 sewing machine. while switching needles i dropped one into the machine. the needle went down through the metal plate under the bobin area. i unscrewed the metal plate and cannot find it. i can hear it but cant seem to spot it. i tried getting the strongest magnets from my fridge to lure it out, but still no luck. any ideas of what to do. this is my first machine and i know how expensive it is. id hate to break it. dont want to use it either till i get it out. which stinks cause i really needed to use it. im new to sewing so i dont know a whole lot about the mechanics. just the basics. so i really dont want to start disecting parts that arent ment to be taken out and then put back in again. any help would be so greatly appreciated. thank you thank you thank you in advance for any suggestions.
